4 Months and 3 Days
So 3 days ago Pearl reached her 4th month , and today she got some goodies. Kim and I went over to Babies-r-Us to return some clothes that didn't quite fit her, while she was doing that I saw these 2 adorable dresses in the "expensive" clothes section. I figured my little girl needed a cute little dress to wear, it even has matching bloomers to go underneath so you don't see diaper staring back at you.
I'm thinking she can wear it to meet people, or out to dinner, and other various occasions. We put her in it to take these pictures, and I think you will all agree that she looks fabulous in her new dress. Of course she had a great time shopping like usual, just a little crying on the way home, and she fell asleep at Boston Market (nothing really that interesting there I guess).
While we were at the store we also picked up a Sesame Street Walker. We got this because we had a chair thing a few weeks ago that she seemed to like very much, however, we needed to get larger clothes for our incredible expanding baby so we returned the chair. Instead of getting her a new chair that she would use for 3 or 4 more weeks at the most we got a walker that would grow with her for a couple of months or more.
In addition to the goodies that Pearl got today she has also received some other presents in the past couple of weeks that I'd like to show you. My Aunt Bobbie sent us the singing caterpillar to the right, that makes pearl smile and coo with delight every time Mommy or me touch one of the buttons. Not only does it sing it also plays classical music and teaches numbers and colors, very smart gift in my opinion.
I guess that sometime in the last couple of weeks Aunt Bobbie also thought it might be a good idea to purchase our little Pearl an outfit to wear too. Well, a couple of days ago we got that outfit in the mail and we all (in unison) let out a collective "Awwww". It certainly is a cute outfit, but the best part for me the shirt says "My Dad Rocks". I certainly beleive that I do and now my little girl can tell the whole world as well.
She seems to enjoy being in the outfit, she just couldn't stop smiling and laughing. When we were taking these photos I noticed that not only did I like the shirt, the matching pants are very smart as well. As an outfit it seems to be a very "out and about town" thing for her to be wearing.

Pearl is 4 Months Old!!!
The last 4 months have gone by so very quickly, it almost feels like I blinked and it was suddenly half way through January 2008. To celebrate this big day I have shot another video, I know how you all enjoy videos of our little Pearl. Beware! this video contains over 9 minutes of disqusting cuteness, watch with care...

New Video Of The Little One
Ok, it's been a while since I have uploaded a video of Pearl, so I decided to do just that. Kim shot this the other day with the assistance of Pearl's Mimsy. It's a great little video of Pearl in her swing just "talking" away, and being all cute (she doesn't have to try to hard to do that). I added a song in the background that I thought worked well for the overall feel of the video. Enjoy!!!

PPOTD: Pearl is all Smiles!
The smiles are flying here at the ol' Ponderosa. One of the most incredible feelings is when Pearl wakes up, looks at me, and breaks into a huge smile. Just typing about it makes me tear up. My love for this little girl grows every day! I would do anything for her, anything for my family. I can't imagine my life without Clay or Pearl.

A Fine Evening Indeed
I got home from work tonight and walked into our bedroom and was greeted by a perfect photo oportunity. Kim and Pearl were both sleeping in the bed and looking adorable. I am such a lucky Husband/Daddy to have 2 cuties to come home to, be jealous!!!
Also, here is a picture that Kim took earlier today that makes me want to burst into laughter...

PPOTD: Still Chilly!
We're trying to stay warm down here, hopefully the worst of the cold weather is over! One good thing about the cold snap is that Pearl has been able to wear some of her warmer clothes, and she looks so damn cute in them. She has also been enjoying her Daddy time...I love my family to bits!
PPOTD: All Bundled Up!
It's been quite cold here the last couple of days. In Daytona Beach there was even a "trace" of snow measured. Pearl has been bundled up and warm, looking cute as ever. Daddy was holding her in front of the mirror in the hallway and she is now smiling and giggling at her own reflection. What a smart girl, she knows how freaking cute she is! Also pictured is Pearl's new ogre...Ophelia! She thinks it's pretty keen!

For some reason, when Bumpa voted for profanity, it changed my vote for Mama. So there should be a vote for Mama; it just won't let us vote separately!!!:(
