Our Visit

It was so wonderful spending time with you Miss Pearl and the rest of our family. We were with you when you reached 10 weeks, but you seem so much older than that. You are so secure and determined. We watched you be frustrated with not being able to communicate and not being able to do physically what you want. Don't worry little one, you will get there. We marveled at your openness to new things, like the beach and the ocean.

Your almost immediate attachement to Bumpa Bob and Nana touched our hearts. We want to be closer to you and are working on making that a reality. I have attached my favorite photo from our time with you, Pearl and Bumpa.

Monday

A Week Of Firsts

On Tuesday Pearl calebrated 9 weeks of life, since then she has had a whirlwind of excitement. On Thursday Pearl's Nana and Bumpa Bob arrived for their week long visit. So now she only needs to meet her Grandpa Bowman and her Opa. Yesterday Pearl had her first visit to the beach, and even got her feet wet in the ocean. The water was a little cold so she didn't like it too much, but she looked quite snazzy in her little beach outfit. Anyway, enjoy the video and pictures...

Sunday

Two Months Old!

Today, my beautiful Pearl, you are two months old. I am not sure when we will stop counting weeks and months, but for now, we get excited over each new week and month. I can not imagine what one year will bring as yet. You have brought such beauty and joy into all our lives!
I will see you in 4 days, little lady.

Saturday

PPOTD: Just some good ones from today!

Just wanted to share a few good pictures of Pearl and her Daddy from today. Isn't my family the cutest? These show that Pearl is getting quite a bit more red in her hair, she's so beautiful!

Wednesday

8 Weeks Old

I can't beleive it's been 8 weeks since this amazingly wonderfull little girl has entered my life. I look at her sometimes when she is laying in bed with Mommy and me and realize that "oh my god, I really am a dadddy". I have been on some really great adventures in my life, some really crazy and some sort of dangerous but all quite wonderful in their own way. So far in my life, having my Wife and Daughter is the most woderful and exciting adventure yet. I never thought this level of happiness was possible.

Anyway, here are some pictures for you all to enjoy. Sorry for the big blue dot on the changing table one, but I don't think posting my daughter's hoo hoo on the internet would be a good idea.

Saturday

PPOTD: Phone Home!

Pearl and I have noticed that quite a number of her outfits have pockets in them. We were trying to figure out what a baby would carry around in their pocket. She told me she wanted to be like a "grown up" and have a phone in case her Daddy or her Nana called her. What Pearl wants Pearl gets...at least for a photo opportunity anyway.

Tuesday

7 Weeks Old!!!

Today Pearl has been with us for 7 weeks, and everything is going quite well. She's focusing on faces better and her neck muscles continue to strengthen. We should be getting close to her first laugh, we've seen smiles so a little laugh would be cool. Last night we went to Babies-R-Us and got her a new outfit (very soft, mmmmm) and some more wipes (jesus we go through a lot of those). Pearl does this thing with her mouth sometimes that sounds like a kiss almost, last night she did it right on my cheek. My daughter kissed me on the cheek and I cried right in the middle of babies-r-us. Anyway, enjoy this picture of Pearl sleeping on my arm all snuggled up with daddy!!!

Saturday

PPOTD: Happy Weekend Pictures

Snapped some photos last night while Pearl was being super cute.
