Today Pearl has been with us for 7 weeks, and everything is going quite well. She's focusing on faces better and her neck muscles continue to strengthen. We should be getting close to her first laugh, we've seen smiles so a little laugh would be cool. Last night we went to Babies-R-Us and got her a new outfit (very soft, mmmmm) and some more wipes (jesus we go through a lot of those). Pearl does this thing with her mouth sometimes that sounds like a kiss almost, last night she did it right on my cheek. My daughter kissed me on the cheek and I cried right in the middle of babies-r-us. Anyway, enjoy this picture of Pearl sleeping on my arm all snuggled up with daddy!!!

Thanks for this--the one from the last post with you looking directly at each other made me cry! Not too long now and I will be able to hold her again! She is just perfect.
