I have really enjoyed this time that I have been able to hang out with my family. Of course I would like to start working soon, the permits are close so I am told. We should be opening in the next week or so, that will be nice. Part of me is actually sad that I have to start working again because it means less time with Pearl, but I would like to be able to buy her cool stuff too. Spending time with my little girl is very special to me. Right now she is sitting on my lap watching TV and eating cheesy poofs with me.
Earlier today Pearl was a little tired and she was half napping on her Mommy, she got down and walked over to me. She made a little noise and climbed up on my chest and put her head down and went to sleep. It was so sweet, I got a little misty. Also, Pearl really likes getting in to things and be pulled around, she has so much fun and smiles real big.

Who knew you could pick up a cute toddler at IKEA? They really do have everything.
An experienced grandma told me to buy 1-2 year olds what you want to give them for xmas next, take it out, put it away, and give them the box this year. Makes sense doesn't it; all they want to do is crawl inside!! By the way, Miss Pearl, Santa's been shopping for you family this past weekend and having great fun!!!
